Injection molded parts
KTR manufactures custom technical injection-moulded components using engineering and high-performance thermoplastics, with automated machines and part weights across a broad range.
Kunststofftechnik Hans Rethwisch GmbH (KTR) is a family-owned injection moulding company established in Hamburg in 1969. It manufactures customer-specific technical plastic components for medical and dental applications, aerospace, automotive, measurement equipment, electrical engineering, shipbuilding and machinery. Its Hamburg facility operates 24 electric and hydraulic injection moulding machines, including equipment for two-component moulding and production under controlled cleanroom conditions. KTR processes conventional engineering thermoplastics as well as high-performance materials such as PEEK, PEI, PSU and PFA. The company also provides insert moulding, tool management, mould maintenance and repair, component assembly, ultrasonic welding, laser marking and other finishing operations. Its tool management services span planning, simulation-supported design evaluation, procurement and ongoing tool care. KTR combines automated manufacturing with documented quality controls and offers both specialist components and larger production runs.
KTR manufactures custom technical injection-moulded components using engineering and high-performance thermoplastics, with automated machines and part weights across a broad range.
The company produces precision engineering components for dental, aerospace, measurement and industrial applications, including very small gears and high-performance polymer parts.
KTR provides assembly of injection-moulded parts into finished subassemblies, including painted and assembled aircraft-handle components.
Secondary operations include laser marking, pad printing, hot stamping, mechanical finishing and part conditioning.
KTR joins thermoplastic components using ultrasonic welding as part of its downstream processing services.
KTR manages injection mould planning, sourcing, maintenance and repairs, using filling simulation and external tooling partners for mould manufacture.
