Injection molded parts
The Ruppichteroth operation manufactures technically demanding thermoplastic injection-moulded parts on 29 modern machines with clamping forces from 350 to 8,000 kN and shot weights from 2.5 to 2,500 g. Multi-component and vertically arranged injection units are available.
Injection and compression molds
In-house toolmaking designs and manufactures high-precision injection moulds, including prototype and series tools. The site handles injection moulds up to 1,600 × 1,200 mm and large tools up to 6 t, supported by 3- and 5-axis milling and a 100-ton spotting press.
Prototyping
Happ/JSP-IMS supports projects from product ideas through prototype tools and pre-series parts to serial production, allowing designs, materials and manufacturing concepts to be validated before scale-up.
Mold design
The company develops functional injection-moulded parts and application-specific mould concepts using PTC Creo CAD, FEM analysis, injection-moulding simulation and TEBIS CAM. Design work includes material and process selection as well as optimisation for efficient manufacture.
Assembled parts
The Ruppichteroth site provides integrated post-processing and assembly for injection-moulded components, including welding, laser marking, bonding, automated assembly, inline quality inspection and packaging. A clean room is available for assembly and packaging of special products.
Foamed parts
The company uses injection-foaming technologies with physical and chemical blowing agents, including low-pressure CO2 processes, to reduce material use, clamping force and energy demand while improving weight, warpage and dimensional stability.
