Injection molded parts
SKT produces precision injection-moulded thermoplastic parts from 0.5 g to 2,900 g using conventional molding, insert molding and overmolding, including visual and functional components.
SKT Solmser Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a German manufacturer of customer-specific injection-moulded plastic components headquartered in Solms-Albshausen. Its roots date to 1975. The company employs more than 40 people and manufactures more than 120 million parts annually for customers across diverse industries. Its production range covers standard and engineering thermoplastics, thermoplastic elastomers, reinforced grades and selected recycled and bio-based materials.
ENGEL and ARBURG injection-moulding machines cover clamping forces of approximately 50–6,000 kN according to the company quality-management profile. The published technical range includes components weighing 0.5–2,900 g, with insert and overmoulding options. SKT also offers manual and automated assembly, surface finishing, printing and customer-specific packaging.
SKT supplies applications in electrical engineering, automotive, building technology, automation and optics. Tool and mould development can be coordinated with its partner BKT Kunststofftechnik; these partner capabilities are not presented as an independent SKT toolmaking site. Its published quality-management materials describe ISO 9001:2015 certification.
