Founded in Hard, Austria, in 1947, faigle has grown into an international engineering-plastics group. At faigle Kunststoffe GmbH we develop and manufacture application-specific plastic components and assemblies, combining material expertise, injection moulding, engineering and testing.
Our portfolio serves intralogistics, escalator and moving-walk systems, public transport and other demanding industrial markets. In-house product development and research help us optimise tribological performance, durability, efficiency and component design. The group also operates in Switzerland and China; these are separate legal entities and are not presented here as Austrian company locations.
Our own injection-moulding capability supports the development and production of engineering-plastic components. The Hard site has a history of injection-moulding production, while our engineering teams link material selection, testing and application-specific design to series manufacture. We develop components for mobility and material-handling applications with a focus on functional reliability.
We develop and manufacture functional components made from engineering polymers for demanding industrial applications. Our product portfolio includes load-bearing, wear-resistant and tribologically optimised parts used in intralogistics, escalators, rail applications and industrial equipment. Material behaviour, friction and endurance testing inform our component designs.
Our development teams carry out detailed engineering, simulations and component calculations for application-specific plastic solutions. Working with customers from concept through testing, we adapt geometry, materials and functional performance to operating conditions. Design decisions are supported by our plastics and tribology experience.
Our in-house research and development activities include prototype construction, test samples and 3D printing. These prototypes allow functional assessment before production release. Material selection, filling simulations and iterative testing help us refine component performance ahead of volume production.
We supply functional plastic components and ready-to-install assemblies for demanding mobility and intralogistics applications. Products such as the Swivel wheel comfort wheel-holder module and IGOSTRAP air hanging-strap kit are designed for practical installation and service. The assemblies combine purpose-designed plastic parts with the required functional elements.
