About

About PLASTIL Solutions Plastiques

PLASTIL Solutions Plastiques is a French family-owned industrial group established in 1972. Our complementary operations cover plastic injection moulding, profile extrusion, extrusion blow moulding, precision machining and the production of cut seals. We support customers from initial project assessment through industrial production, providing custom parts and product ranges.

Our injection-moulding activity at Saint-Léger-sous-Cholet operates 12 presses from 50 to 610 tonnes, manufacturing plastic parts weighing from a few grams to approximately 3 kg. Engineering support includes design optimisation, prototyping and tooling validation. Assembly, insert fitting, ultrasonic welding, marking extend our capabilities.

Across the group, we serve industrial, building, joinery and furniture applications as well as demanding transport and technical markets. We combine application knowledge with quality control and traceability. The portfolio also includes extruded technical profiles, sealing products and the TCOURB landscape edging range.

Our competencies

Injection molded parts

Injection molded parts

Our Saint-Léger-sous-Cholet injection operation manufactures custom thermoplastic components for industrial applications. Twelve injection presses cover clamping forces from 50 to 610 tonnes, for parts from a few grams to about 3 kg. Production is supported by engineering, process control and finishing operations.

Technical parts

Technical parts

Custom technical plastic components are produced for customers working to defined drawings and functional requirements. The injection team processes engineering polymers including PA, PBT and PPS as well as other thermoplastics. Dimensional control and technical project support help manage demanding production requirements.

Assembled parts

Assembled parts

Component assembly and the preparation of small subassemblies are available alongside injection moulding. The Saint-Léger production team also performs insert installation and ultrasonic welding where required. These capabilities enable delivered products to incorporate additional manufacturing and integration steps.

Part design

Part design

Our engineering team helps refine customer part designs for manufacture. Support includes 3D design optimisation, 2D drawings and mould-flow analysis, with SolidWorks and Autodesk tools identified by the company. Project coordination links design, tooling validation and production.

Semi-finished product

Semi-finished product

The PLASTIL group also manufactures extruded PVC and technical-polymer profiles for industrial, building, joinery and furniture uses. Standard product ranges and customised cross-sections are supported by dedicated extrusion lines. This is a group-wide capability, separate from the Saint-Léger injection operation.

Welded parts

Ultrasonic welding is one of the finishing processes available in the injection-moulding workshop. It can be integrated with component assembly and other secondary operations when suitable for the product design. The exact joining process is agreed on the basis of each project.

Prototyping

The engineering function supports development with prototypes and models before a project moves to production. Design reviews, 3D optimisation and tooling validation can be incorporated into project planning. This helps connect component development with the realities of industrial moulding.

Marked parts

Laser marking is available as a secondary operation for moulded plastic components. The injection site also identifies screen printing and other product-finishing capabilities. Marking requirements and material suitability are evaluated as part of the manufacturing project.
