Würl Kunststofferzeugnisse GmbH & Co. KG is a third-generation family-operated manufacturing business based in Oberstenfeld, Germany. Its industrial origins date to 1953, starting with decorative components for the textile industry. The present legal entity took its current name in 2022. Its operations focus on customer-specific technical plastic parts, mould construction, zinc die-casting and assembled products.
The company operates 15 CNC-controlled injection moulding machines with clamping forces of 35–350 tonnes and a stated component weight range of 0.03–1,000 grams. Its production area exceeds 3,000 m². An in-house toolroom supports CAD design, CNC milling, EDM, tool maintenance and moulds up to 800 × 800 mm. Automated material supply and connected production monitoring support small- and large-series manufacture.
Additional operations include surface finishing, plating, hot stamping, pad printing, painting, ultrasonic welding and assembly. WKE supplies automotive, industrial engineering and textile applications. It states that its quality management system is ISO 9001 certified and that production processes follow relevant IATF 16949 requirements.
