ActuaPlast is an independent French plastics manufacturer founded in 2001 and based in La Forêt-Fouesnant, Brittany. We support industrial customers from product design and rapid prototyping through tooling, industrialisation and series production. Our capabilities combine engineering, injection moulding and 2D/3D extrusion blow moulding.
Our in-house design and tooling teams develop injection and blow moulds, while production operations manufacture technical thermoplastic components and tubular parts. Depending on project requirements, we also provide insert overmoulding, welded assemblies, inspection fixtures, leak testing and other quality controls. Prototyping technologies help validate form, function and manufacturability before production.
We serve automotive suppliers, agricultural machinery manufacturers and aerospace and defence customers, producing applications such as air intake systems, tanks, ducts and engineered plastic assemblies. From development batches to series programmes, our focus is design support, quality and reliable execution.
Injection moulding of standard, reinforced, rigid and flexible thermoplastics supports prototype and series requirements. ActuaPlast combines tool development with part manufacture and inspection. Production may be followed by welding, machining or assembly when the application requires a complete functional part.
Technical plastic components are developed for automotive, agricultural machinery, aerospace and defence applications. The engineering team works with customer CAD files to examine part geometry, materials and process feasibility. Finished parts can be integrated with inspection and joining operations.
ActuaPlast manufactures 2D and 3D extrusion blow-moulded ducts, tanks and complex tubular components. The company develops associated tooling and process-specific fixtures. Product work encompasses design, blow moulding, secondary operations and verification including leak testing.
Rapid prototyping supports physical and functional checks before industrialisation. The portfolio includes additive manufacturing and vacuum casting for early development work. This reduces the gap between component design and manufacturing decisions.
Where a product requires several moulded elements, ActuaPlast can combine parts through hot-plate, spin, ultrasonic, vibration or hot-air welding. The service may include finishing, inspection and testing. This supports functional assemblies.
The team designs and manufactures moulds for 2D and 3D extrusion blow moulding. Tool development addresses part positioning, cooling, movement and the associated cutting and handling operations. Both prototype and production applications are supported.
An integrated tooling workshop designs and produces injection moulds in aluminium or steel. Tooling selection reflects component requirements and planned production volumes. In-house CAD/CAM expertise enables the design and production of mould elements and associated control tools.
An internal design office works with customer CAD data using CATIA and SOLIDWORKS. Its engineering work considers manufacturability, materials, assembly and product-function requirements. The objective is to carry validated designs through prototyping into production.
